Setting Education

Complete guide to managing education level data in Moyee - viewing, adding, editing, and configuring education levels such as Preschool, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle School, High School, Diploma, Bachelor, Master, Doctorate for employee data purposes.

Overview

The Setting Education menu displays all education level data used to manage employee education information. This feature allows you to configure education levels from basic to higher education.

The Setting Education page is located within the Setup » Document Type » Setting Education menu.

Education List Display

The education list page displays a category sidebar on the left and a list of education levels on the right.

Category Sidebar

The left sidebar displays available document categories:

  • Master Bank
  • Setting Education
  • Medical Check-up
  • Setting Employment History

Education Level List

The education list page displays all available education levels in a list format.

Education Level Data

Here is an example of registered education level data:

Setting Education Form

To add or edit education level data, use the Setting Education form.

Form Components:

How to Fill the Form:

  1. Name
    • Enter the education level name
    • Example: Preschool, Kindergarten, Elementary School, Middle School, High School, Diploma 3, Diploma 4, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree, Doctorate Degree
    • The name must be unique and cannot be the same as an existing one
  2. Status
    • Check if the education level is active and can be used
    • Leave unchecked if inactive
    • Active education levels will appear in the selection when filling out employee data
  3. Click Save to save the data
  4. Click Cancel to cancel

Adding a New Education Level

To add a new education level:

  1. Click the Add Education Level button or the plus (+) icon
  2. The Setting Education Form page will open
  3. Fill in Name with the education level name (example: Vocational High School)
  4. Set Status (check if you want it immediately active)
  5. Click Save to save
  6. Click Cancel to cancel

Editing an Education Level

To edit existing education level data:

  1. Find the education level you want to edit from the list
  2. Click the Edit icon on that row
  3. The edit form will open with pre-filled data
  4. Modify the necessary information (Name, Status)
  5. Click Save to save the changes
  6. Click Cancel to cancel

Deleting an Education Level

To delete an education level:

  1. Find the education level you want to delete from the list
  2. Click the Delete icon on that row
  3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears
  4. The education level data will be permanently deleted
Warning: Deleting an education level will affect all employee data using this education level. Ensure no employee data is still using this education level before deleting.

Usage Tips

  1. Use standard abbreviations - Use commonly recognized abbreviations like Elementary, Middle, High School, Diploma, Bachelor's, etc.
  2. Sort by level - Ensure the order follows the level from lowest to highest for ease of use.
  3. Activate all levels - Activate all levels that might be used by employees.
  4. Be consistent with diplomas - Match with the levels stated on official diplomas.
  5. Add specialized levels - If there are specialized levels like Vocational School or specific diplomas, add them as needed.
  6. Deactivate unused levels - Deactivate levels that are not relevant to the company.
  7. Check for duplicates - Ensure there are no duplicate data entries (e.g., High School appearing twice).

Troubleshooting

Cannot add a new education level

  • Ensure the Name field is filled
  • Check if the name is already in use
  • Try with a different name

Education level not appearing in selection

  • Check the status (must be active)
  • Refresh the browser page
  • Ensure the data was saved correctly

Failed to save form

  • Ensure the name is not duplicated
  • Check your internet connection
  • Try with a simpler name

Data cannot be deleted

  • Ensure no employee data is using this education level
  • Deactivate it first before deleting
  • Contact an administrator if still having issues

Order is incorrect

  • Note the desired order
  • If necessary, delete and re-add with the correct order
  • Or use the sort feature if available
