Medical Check Up (MCU)

Complete guide to managing employee Medical Check Up data in Moyee, including monitoring MCU status, viewing history, adding new records, and managing examination result documents.

Overview

The Medical Check Up menu is used to manage all employee medical examination data. This feature allows you to monitor employee health status, MCU schedules, examination results, and supporting documents such as doctor's notes and medical recommendations.

The Medical Check Up page is located within the menu: Employee Health » Medical Check Up.

MCU Statistics

At the top of the page, a summary of MCU statistics is displayed in the form of tabs and cards:

Usage Tips

  1. Monitor Validity Period - Pay attention to the status tabs (Active, Warning, Alert, Expired) to know which MCUs need to be renewed.
  2. Complete Documentation - Always upload MCU result files (PDF/image) for archiving purposes.
  3. Doctor's Notes - Record doctor's recommendations in Doctor Notes for follow-up.
  4. Follow Up - Use the Add Follow Up feature to monitor employee health progress.
  5. Update Status - Update the MCU result status (Fit/Unfit) immediately after results are out.
  6. Schedule Regular MCUs - Use Expired Date data to schedule the next MCU (at least 3 months before expiry).
  7. Integrate with Occupational Health - Coordinate MCU data with the company's occupational health program.

Common Scenarios

Scenario 1: Annual MCU

Employee undergoes annual MCU:

  • Create a new record with + Record MCU.
  • Fill in the MCU date and expiration date (usually +1 year).
  • Upload the MCU result file.
  • Record doctor's recommendations in Doctor Notes.
  • Status: Fit or according to results.

Scenario 2: MCU with Notes

MCU results indicate the need for further examination:

  • Status: Fit With Notes.
  • Add Doctor Notes with recommendations.
  • Create a Follow Up for the follow-up examination schedule.
  • Update after the examination is complete.

Scenario 3: MCU About to Expire

MCU approaching its expiration date (Warning/Alert):

  • Notification appears in the system.
  • Schedule a re-MCU.
  • Update data after the new MCU is complete.

Scenario 4: Expired MCU

MCU has passed its expiration date:

  • Status automatically becomes Expired.
  • Employee cannot be used for assignments requiring a valid MCU.
  • Immediately schedule a re-MCU.

Troubleshooting

MCU Data Does Not Appear

  • Check the selected status tab.
  • Ensure there are no search filters active.
  • Refresh the page.
  • Check the internet connection.

File Upload Fails

  • Ensure the file format is PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG.
  • Check the file size (max 10MB).
  • Ensure the file is not corrupted.
  • Try compressing the file if it's too large.

Expired Date is Incorrect

  • MCU is usually valid for 1 year.
  • Manual calculation: MCU Date + 1 year.
  • Edit if a correction is needed.

Status Does Not Update

  • Status is calculated automatically based on the expiration date.
  • Check if the expiration date is correct.
  • Refresh the page.

Failed to Add Doctor Notes

  • Ensure all fields are filled.
  • Check the date format.
  • Save before adding new notes.

Employee Database

MCU data is integrated with the employee profile in the Employee Database.

Health Insurance

MCU status is used for health insurance claims.

Work Assignment

Some positions may require a valid MCU for assignment.

Medical Records

All MCU data is stored in the employee's Medical Records.
