Edit Work Group - Multi-Step Form
Overview
The Edit Work Group menu is a multi-step process for changing data in an existing work group in Moyee. This feature allows you to update work group information through the same 3 main steps as when creating it: changing details, managing employee membership, and reconfiguring attendance settings.

Page Navigation
The Edit Work Group page can be accessed from the Dashboard » Time Management » Work Groups menu by clicking the Edit icon on the work group you want to change.
Step Navigation
The work group edit process consists of the same 3 steps as the creation process.

- Attendance Settings
Step 1: Work Group Details (Edit)
First step to change basic work group information.

Form Components (Auto-filled with Existing Data):

How to Edit Step 1:
- Work Group Name
- Change the work group name if necessary
- Example: from
5/2to5/2 Work Group - Project A
- Project Code
- Change the project code if the work group moves to another project
- Select from the available dropdown
- Work Schedule/Shift
- Change the work schedule if necessary
- Example: from
5/2to6/1
- Calendar
- Change the calendar used
- Example: keep using
USE MASTER CALENDARor select another calendar
- Click Next to proceed to the next step
- Click Back to return to the previous page
Step 2: Add Employees (Edit)
Second step to manage employee membership in the work group.

Two-Panel Display:
Left Panel: Employee List (Available)
This panel displays a list of available employees who are not yet in this work group.
Information:
Employees who have not entered any work group (3 available)

Right Panel: Employee Assigned
This panel displays a list of employees who are already in this work group.

How to Manage Membership:
Adding New Employees:
- Find employees in the left panel using the search column
- Click the + or Add button on the employee you want to add
- The employee will move from the left panel to the right panel
Removing Employees:
- Find employees in the right panel using the search column
- Click the - or Remove button on the employee you want to remove
- The employee will move from the right panel to the left panel
Navigation Buttons:
- Back - Return to Step 1
- Next - Proceed to Step 3
Step 3: Attendance Settings (Edit)
Third step to change the attendance location settings for the work group.

Select Attendance Location
Components:
Select Location (can be multiple)- Previously selected locations will be checked
Currently Selected Locations:
Radiant Utama Interinsco
List of Available Locations
Here is a list of locations that can be selected/changed for attendance:

How to Edit Attendance Settings:
- Search for locations using the search column (optional)
- Check or uncheck the locations you want to change:
- Add a new location by checking the checkbox
- Remove a location by unchecking it
- You can select more than one location
- Click Next to continue, or Back to return to Step 2
Complete Edit
After completing Step 3, click the Save or Update button to save all changes.
Summary of changes to be saved:
- Work group detail changes (name, project, shift, calendar)
- Employee membership changes (add/remove)
- Attendance location changes
Usage Tips
- Double-check changes - Before saving, ensure all changes are correct.
- Communicate with the team - Inform employees if there are changes to shifts or attendance locations.
- Watch for conflicts - Ensure added employees do not have schedule conflicts in other work groups.
- Update gradually - If there are many changes, do them gradually to avoid errors.
- Documentation - Record changes made for audit purposes.
- Test - After changing attendance locations, perform a test to ensure it functions.
- Review regularly - Evaluate work groups periodically to ensure they still meet needs.
Troubleshooting
Changes not saved
- Make sure to click Save after Step 3
- Check internet connection
- Try refreshing the page and editing again
Employee cannot be added
- Ensure the employee is not already in another work group
- Check employee status (must be active)
- Search with the right keywords
Employee cannot be removed
- Ensure the employee is actually in the work group
- Refresh the right panel
- Try removing one by one if selecting many
Attendance location does not appear
- Search with different keywords
- Ensure the location is configured in Work Location
- Refresh the page
Shift cannot be changed
- Ensure the new shift is configured
- Check if the new shift is compatible with the calendar
- Consult with administrator if necessary
